Dashing through the feeds
On a laptop late at night,
Typing through the noise,
Facts all locked in tight.
Headlines start to ring,
Deadlines drawing near,
What fun it is to share the truth
For readers far and near.

Jingle bells
Jingle bells
Bylines all the way
Oh what fun
It is to write
An article a day

A story hits the wire,
Sources double-checked,
Editors all smile
When the copy’s proofed and set.
Clicks begin to climb,
Voices amplified,
Oh what joy it is to see
Independent news worldwide.

Jingle bells
Jingle bells
Bylines all the way
Oh what fun
It is to write
An article a day

No billionaires in charge,
No talking points to tow,
Just writers telling stories
People need to know.
From culture down to crime,
From justice to critique,
Bylines Network carries truth
Seven days a week.

Jingle bells
Jingle bells
Bylines all the way
Oh what fun
It is to write
An article a day
