Out of the night
The star impales
Our sighless vision
The drip of time
Frozen
Burning white light
Ancient comet sparks
Beguiling
Matter
Flung far and wide
Memory Brazen
Certitude
Enfolding in mind’s eye
To hide
Time long past
Revealed splendour
In ice cold firmament
Wide
