Oh Magdelaine and Madeline
were evil witches to the core.
Though both of them loved children,
they would never ever eat one raw.
That Magdelaine she much preferred
to have her children barbecued.
And Madeline she liked hers stewed,
she did not care for smoky food.
The both of them were very tall
and both of them were very thin.
And both of them had noses, hooked,
and both of them had bright green skin.
The both of them wore long black gowns,
and both of them wore pointed hats.
And both of them rode spindly brooms,
and both of them owned fat black cats.
The both of them had orange warts,
and both of them had straggly hair.
The both of them had yellow eyes
to give an evil yellow stare.
The both of them had crooked mouths
and both of them had curled up chins.
And both of them had empty sacks,
to catch some tasty children in.
The both of them had hearts so black,
much blacker than the blackest pitch.
But if they came to capture you,
you would not know which witch was which.
And you’d be taken to their house,
where they would eat you as their food.
And you would never, ever know
if you’d be stewed or barbecued.
